Pes.V, 5 ויקרש הדם and the blood may congeal; a. fr.Part. pass. קָרוּש. Y.Nidd.III, beg.50c דם הוא שהוא ק׳וכ׳ it is blood which congealed and formed a lump. Y.Sabb.II, 4d כל שמתיכין אותו ואינו ק׳ whatever you melt, and it becomes not solid again. Succ.12a יין ק׳ הוא משנירוכ׳ it means a jelly of wine from Senir that resembles fig cakes.
